This limited edition mixed media print is centered around the musical artist, Prince who was an influential icon for various forms of art. I wanted to capture his infectious ora while incorporating a play on Purple Rain with a twist. After studying the history of stars, I came across the first images of deep space at the Hubble Space Station. I replicated my depiction of space by layering blue, purple and white acrylic paints in various forms to portray the stars in the galaxy.
