This multi-dimensional original artwork began with my desire to express the process of creativity that is driven by heart, which in turn opens the mind and fuels our passion.
My vision was to incorporate three main elements: the heart, mind and hand. My instincts were driven to emphasize each element in a unique and original manor. I first built an over-sized heart that extends four inches off of the canvas and is layered with gold leaf. I then placed a metal sculpture of the human hand that droops over the exterior of the gold metal frame. The large scale hand guides a can of Montana Gold Spray Paint that disperses pink as my depiction of the mind and thinking outside of the box.
