Phish Stix | 36 x 24

After the astounding feedback from my original artwork titled Chop Stix, I decided to create a series of Stix pieces. For the second Stix Series abstract painting, I envisioned a smaller piece with more of a minimalist vibe. To accomplish this, I blended fewer colors across multiple tones. As I continued to layer the different hues, I was reminded of glow in the dark bracelets that fly across the night sky at Phish concerts. The primary colors consist mostly of neon green, blue, red, and yellow. The tradition has carried on over the years and is truly an eye opening experience.
