Amor, 2022
Purchased by Aaron Rosenhaus
~ Detroit, MI ~
Over the course of my growth in mixed media art, I have mainly created large pieces. This led me to challenge myself to experiment with smaller mediums. Amor is the first piece of the series, which began with zero direction or theme. My goal was to infuse bright + florescent spray paint with acrylic paint. The background began to illustrate love with lighter hues + tones. I envisioned bringing love to life with an explosion of color in the foreground. It then blossomed into an abstract painting with vibrant colors layered throughout the piece. If you deeply examine the artwork, you will feel + see the love inside + out.
