Beholder of Beauty - 60"W x 72"H
As I expand my artistic range, I wanted to create depth by using only spray paint. I typically build layers by using a number of different materials and techniques. For this piece, I incorporated a few graffiti methods to accomplish my overarching goal. The more layers I added, the more complex the piece became. My idea turned into something that was unexpected, but in an amazing way. It became even more evident as every person who described what they saw was different from the next. I can confidently say this is the first piece I created where the term “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” truly applies, and I have yet to hear identical interpretations.
