Mick Jagger, Prince, and Jim Morrison are legends across a number of creative genres due to their innovations in music, writing, fashion, and theater. For this piece, I wanted to capture the energy of their captivating stage presence. During the process, I was inspired to add a dimensional aspect. Upon doing so, I changed directions and removed hundreds, if not thousand(+) plastic figurines. This in turn created an unorthodox style, which aligns with both artists energetic aura. To bring it all together, I added marble spray paint for a weblike effect in red and paired this original painting with an overlapping red frame.
